The reason why I am asking is that I went ahead and cut 21in out of my frame rails on my 1 ton and need to figure out the height of the blocks I need to make for the frame to sit level like on a 1/2 ton. Hope that makes sense.

If not that, the answer is about 2" between the cab and the front bed panel. The distance between the cab and the bed.... Not really needed, but I am not worried about that since everything will be custom fabricated anyway.

I need to make the spacers for that, but considering it is a 1 ton the only reference point I will have is from the bottom of the window down to where the Bed starts.

A better place to measure from might be the body band. I have 10" between the bottom of the body band and the top of the front bed panel. I just figured that the window was another reference point to work off of. I will have to see where 10" Puts me. I was playing with a side last night on the truck with a fender bolted on and it seems like it is really off where I had it, I assume I need to lift it 3 in based on where the running board is on my truck vs where the guy decided to weld the other one to the fender.
