I'm considering it on my 3800 panel, it's a bolt on with no need to remove any factory components. You even use your old steering gear and column. I'm installing a 250 engine, so finding a power steering pump and brackets at the bone-yard should be no problem. | | |

It does not give you a good feel in straight ahead driving even with reduced pump pressure. I think the problem is that it reacts too fast for the straight axle geometry. Fred

Things like tie-rod ends are different from what is on a 1/2-ton, and the kit may not work on the bigger truck.

I will be ordering it soon. I have located people who have made the mod and love it. It mounts right where the existing steering box goes with the aid of brackets. My engines a 235 and I'll use the old generater/pump combo to power it.
