Until it was stolen last week I had a 1946 Chev pick up. Since then I have accumulated another large truck and a 46 ute to start rebuilding along the lines of the stolen one. With what I have left there may be another project left.

Do you have pictures of your stolen truck? We can keep a lookout for it, but they all look kind of the same before restoration. It is hard to believe that a person that loved old trucks, could steal from a fellow truck lover. How we can help in any way. Good luck and welcome to Stovebolt.

John, welcome to the bolt. Sorry about your truck. Most trucks have at least ONE thing that will always "give it away" that only the woner knows about. So, what should we look for??
Good luck on your new project and there are some bolters from your area around here someplace. I'm sure you'll hook up with them. Good luck. Keep us posted and some pics when you can.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Hi John, welcome from Scotland.
Sorry to hear some lowlife stole your truck.
Hopefully something will give it away when the 'perp' trys to part it out or sell it.
As Alvin says, there are a few Aussie bolters here, but knowing the size of Australia, you could be as far from them as I am from the States!(Only with a little less water!)
Don't forget the pics.....
