Hi there;
Just bought my truck, 36 GMC T16B Most of truck is there, missing grill, headlights, headlight mounts(snapped off), emblems, other small parts that will drive me crazy trying to find. 5 of 6 tires still hold air so getting her home shouldn't be a problem. Looking for any info on the T16's Archies 36

Hi Archie,firstly welcome to the 'bolt.

Nice to see an earlier truck.. It looks pretty complete and solid.
You'll see in the Swap Meet,that there's a parts wanted section.
Post a request,you never know what some folks may have.

Good Luck

Thanks Jock this is why I'm here. I don't know much about redoing a vehicle but I'm going to learn and I figure you guys have the experience and I'm not afraid to ask those who know. Thanks for the advice

Archie

Welcome to Stovebolt! Looked at your truck and I love it. That sure was a heavy duty work horse back in it's day. I can just picture it going down the road pulling a load. Very Cool. thumbs_up

You've found a good home for old guys and old trucks. Just ask a question and you'll get a hundred answers.

Turns out it is a 38 T 16 B It took a while but I finally was able to get the year right. Now for the fun stuff taking her apart to see what is good and what needs fixed or replaced. Lots of time to ponder the way things were done yester year.
