(link to picture below). Does anybody have one of these sitting around that would consider selling, trading, or renting for this one-time job? Remove the dowel pin that locates and restrains the bushing. Carefully drive the bushing (thru the dowel hole) out with a small drift , just enough to get the big grips on it. Pull/rotate , till it is out.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately my '53 3100 does not have a dowel pin holding in the front bushing- (I've looked and looked). It's pressed in, no hole.
I think I can make a tool that will work for this, and if not I'll probably rent it from the Filling Station. Thanks Pre '68 Dave!

You had an Okie in yours already, this puller will not work for pulling those.
