I had found one of these on a GMC 1T, 64-66, and recently discovered another, again on a GMC. Just thought I'd make a note that this would be considered a rare option, as I've never seen it on a Chevy. Let me know if I'm wrong! I've got one on my 64 Chevy Suburban, and I think it adds something to the look.

There was an NOS original on eBay a few years ago and I think it went for over $100, so they must be pretty rare. I thought it would look great in my truck, but not that great.

My 1965 c 10 has power brakes with the power brake pad. The way I understand it was an option. But you had to have the 292 as the brakes work of vaccum. Why only the 292 I have no idea. Mine does have a 292 and a three speed. AND IT IS ORIGINAL. Except the old man that was the first owner dented a rear fender so he put a 70 fender on both sides and had them painted to match. But it still has the line markings on the fire wall.

The POWER BRAKE pad was available on all '60-'66 Chevy trucks, with power brakes, regardless of the motor size and configuration. All of the factory power brake assemblies on the '64-'66 Chevy light-duty trucks were vacuum actuated. I have a few of the pads and a few truck with them.
