Gang,

I had an attack of creativity come over me this weekend and I made up some new stickers (ovals and bumper stickers) just for big bolters. Check 'em out in the Posters, Prints and Stickers Section of the Hoo Ya Shoppe

What do you think -- Okay or do I need to keep working?

As always, your purchases in the Hoo Ya Shoppe help keep the lights on at Stovebolt HQ so thanks!!!

Thanks,
John

I can do the big bolt stickers with the AD grills. I just thought I'd start with something that was obviously a big bolt (Billy -- I thought you might find that truck vaguely familiar ... wink )

The AD and Art Deco big bolts look a lot like the little bolts from the front wink

Bruce -- noted about the '54 grill. I'll put that on the list. I do, however, need a good head-on shot of a '54 to work from, though (needs to be hi-rez, shot from a slightly low angle, and with a uniform/contrasting background)

I need to do a Task Force, too. Anyone know where I can get a head-on shot of, say, a '59 GMC 860???

Thanks,
John

I can try to get a shot of my '54 COE but I'm not sure what hi-rez constitutes. As far as background, It will probably be just blue sky.

Bruce,

Hi-rez means 200 dpi resolution and at least 5-6 inches on a side.

If only 72 dpi, then 17-24 inches on a side.

Blue sky is fine -- as long as your truck is a dark color and the sky is fairly uniform. Even an overcast sky is fine -- anything as long as the background contrasts with the truck and is uniform (I have to remove the background and I'd prefer not to have to do it pixel by pixel -- it could be awhile before you see anything if I have to do it that way).

PapaJ -- Check out the mugs -- I just put a big bolt AD design in there.

Roache -- Dude ... like, whatEVER. Like Marlow says -- you just made enough off that storm to buy the whole web site. Now that you and Bill Gates are hangin out at the Rich Guy Club, why don't you lighten up and show some pity for us workin' stiffs, huh?

I've started working on the ODSS logo -- trying to clean it up so we can have some ODSS t-shirts or whatever.

Sweet -- good thinking on the tenderloin rationing -- we have him now.

I am toying with the idea of making shirts (maybe sweatshirst) for the junkyrad tour.
something along the line of "ODSS Winter Tour 2010" on the front and the same logo on the rear as the shirts. Any thoughts?

John,
Check the Hoo Ya shop -- I did up some generic ODSS shirts and sweats (Just the ODSS logo, nothing else). We can put the "Winter Classic 2010" on the backs of those if you want.

r,
John

I lik'em. I can see I wll have to dig into my snow money too.
Could the logo be put on the back with a small SB logo on the left side front with the Wniter classic underneath. Maybe thats too busy? Just a thought.

I like the sound of a junkyard tour shirt; count me in. How about puting "2nd Annual" on there somewhere? If it doesn't fit that's fine... just an idea. Looking forward to the big event.

I think your shirt should have "Tour Guide" or "Tour Director " on it.

Roache's shirt is easy "No pork for you"
