The 75-77 will work good too, but the coil is separate from the cap. One from a 250 or292 will fit. Go into it & make sure the mechanical & vacuum advance are working good. Run a 12 gauge wire from the bat connector to the pink wire on the back of the ign. switch. Install it in the normal way to install a dist. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | | | | Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 43 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 43 | thanks. i appreciate the info. rar | | | | | Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 | Id be all over that unit from Langdon's stovebolt, you get the complete distributor and coil for just under $100 and an expert like Landgon to hold your hand, what a deal. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 218 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 218 | Langdons unit works well
