I have a 48 1/2 ton GMC and where the drip rail end above the rear doors. There is a factory seam where the roof and body come together. Mine has rusted through on the passanger side.

I replaced a section of my roof a couple of years ago with a piece I found in a junk yard.

I melted out the lead and made a patch fron a old fender.
