Can anyone provide an image/picture of an original 54 bench seat "frame"? My truck came with bucket seats out of, "who knows what", but it has a seat frame with springs that the previous owner said was original to the truck. I have my doubts about this bench seat, so I was banking that some of you might have a picture of a 54 bench seat with out a cover or padding.

Yes, I can see that the seat I have is not the correct seat. What bench seats will fit well on the mounting skirt/toolbox surround? I was thinking some mini-van bench seats might be a good fit, has anyone tried other options?

I made mounts out of flat stock to put an 88 full size bench in my son's 54. Works fine. It was free.

Be careful calling yourself a expert, because an "EX" is a hasbeen and a"SPERT" is a drip under pressure.
