I ordered the rectangular rubber stops and the little round rubber stops from Jim Carter's, but my truck came with none on it, so I need to see how they are supposed to go?
I "installed" the rectangular ones already but I put no adhesive on them (is it just me or do they remind you of the adjustment hole plugs in drum backing plate?).
The 3/4" dia. flat rubber discs are a different question. I see a hole, top and bottom that LOOKS like it might be the place for these. One of these holes has an 8-32 x 3/4" long, counter sink, domed and slotted screw in it. Is this where these discs go?
I was only able to find flat topped, counter sunk, Phillips zinc screws. I had intended on finding identical sloted screws in stainless, but couldn't.

Windlacing? | | | | | Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 | Dan, I believe that new rubber piece goes into another metal part, I'll have to look at mine and get back to you. These trucks had no rubber around the doors, just the windlace. The windlace is held in place by a metal strip that goe around the door on the inside. Check out my 46 pics, may be a photo good enough showing the windlace. And I'll get you a photo of the other pieces you need, you may need to remind me.

I searched through all the available links and kingsisomer's pix show the little rubber circle things I am asking about. It looks like I was right as to where they go. The other rectangular rubber things are installed like mine too. I only wonder if I'm supposed to put some kind of adhesive on them because they don't seem all that secure to me.
