will a late model colorado (chevy) 6 lug wheel fit a 50 chevy 3100 ? What wheels (stock)will fit?

I have NOT personally tried them but one of my friend says he has some on his..... but according to most reports they will rub the tie end rod unless you use a spacer...which most folks don't recommend but some run the spacers with no problems.

I think pickup rims up to about 1970 will work.
Maybe someone with "hands on" experience will be along shortly.

Can't say if the Colorado (chevy) 6 lug wheel is the same bolt pattern or not BUT I can tell you that late model(90 & up)6lug full size trick rims will only work w/the help of a 1/2inch spacer....Joe

The bolt pattern from my 2003 3/4 ton Savana is the same as my '53 half ton panel. I only used the wheels to roll the chassis around in the shop.

The backspace is too deep for use on the earlier trucks, especially on the 1/2 tons and even moreso on the Colorado. The bolt pattern on the '88 and up Silverado as well as the Colorado is the same as the earlier trucks. Up to '87 4x4 uses the same bolt pattern and backspace as the early trucks. 3/4 ton used a mix up to about '00, some have the deep backspace, some have the mid backspace (about 4"). The mid backspace wheels will work on the IFS trucks, might rub on a hard turn on the I beam trucks.

Spacers work if you buy the correct spacers for the application.
