The seal is an O ring (about 3-4 inches in diameter) that keeps the fluid from getting out of the tail housing and on the torque tube. Checked several parts houses including large NAPA store and Novaks with no luck.
Any suggestions? | | |

I'm surprised you had no luck from Novaks, they should have had them.

Evidently Novaks does not adapt there trans' to torque tube configurations. I checked the two sites you gave me and it appears they do not have any. I sent them an email to confirm.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated! John

Any way you can get us a picture of what you are talking about? If it is just an o-ring, that should be easy to find at Motion Industries. You may need to buy the complete transmission overhaul gasket kit for a 4 speed 1/2 ton it should be complete.

They say that what I need, whichh they have is a Ball Seal Kit. They are sending me the parts I'll let everyone know if this works. Thanks for the suggestions.
