I see a round seal is available but the hole where the colume goes through is not round but oblong in shape. If I just install the round seal there is a big gap still in the fire wall. If anyone one has any answers I would greatly appreciate them. But, the original cover was a teardrop shaped one, just like the one for the three speed except that it didn't have the upper hole for the shift lever. I had an original flange on mine when I brought her home; think I still have it around here somewhere. So once again, the after market reproduction parts are actually incorrect, just someone’s interpretation of what they thought it might have been.
The teardrop shaped hole in the toe board is the same for all the trucks 3sp or 4sp.

I've had it for a couple years.... I had started buying up parts as I tore the panel apart. Now I'll have to go dig it out to check and see.
IF it is the teardrop shape I don't need it as I am not going to run the shift lever. | | |
