The engine is a 261, the bellhousing is the later version that accepts the bigger retainer of the OD Tranny.

Bellhousing the "Redneck solution" so far Forces on the last picture you can see how the forces work now and why I want to change it.
1. The bolt is not all the way in the thread but have to take the full load
2. The engine wight is on the outher end of the L-shaped mount. It will soon work the bolt loose by ruining the thread and cause some major trouble. Evem if I would take a longer bolt this would happen sooner or later.
Is this typical German over the top engeneeing or
am I right?
