Anybody know a NAPA part # for the front pinion seal on my 59 1 ton GMC Napco?

Is it the same as a 3/4 ton? I can get that for you tomorrow if you still need it.

Don't know if this is the same - SKF (www.skf.com) seal part #25970. Not NAPA, must have bought this from one of the others...

It's on my '56 3600.

if you take the old one out it will have manuf # on it. Napco may have it's own part #, but theere will be a manuf # and it will more than likely be a common seal avail at most automotive jobbers or bearing shops
ron
you will also more than likely require a "speedi-sleeve" to repair the wear in the pinion shaft where the seal ran on it

rednate's suggestion is a good one. I am not a 100% sure, but I seem to recall that they started a reference list for bearing and seals for the NAPCO parts there. Also, if you go to eBay and search for chev* napco, there is an vendor that regularly sells there (ddautoparts, I think), I have talked to them and they are very nice. I'm sure they wouldn't mind answering your question if nothing else pans out.
