on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 50 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 50 | I have a 70' 3/4 ton GMC with 8 bolt split rims 16". Will the newer 8 bolt rims from a 2000 up 3/4 GM brand truck work. I think those rims would look good on my truck. Plus then I could get rid os the split rims. If anyone is intersted in them I could ship them if I get new rims.

The biggest concern (from what I have seen) with putting modern rims on an older truck is the backspacing and brake clearance. | | | | | | ZooKeeper Unregistered | | ZooKeeper Unregistered | Those rims will rub the tie-rod ends w/out at least a 1/2inch or more spacer.. | | |
