I have a 70' 3/4 ton GMC with 8 bolt split rims 16". Will the newer 8 bolt rims from a 2000 up 3/4 GM brand truck work. I think those rims would look good on my truck. Plus then I could get rid os the split rims. If anyone is intersted in them I could ship them if I get new rims.

I believe the bolt pattern is the same, but you may want to try and bolt them up to see if the center is big enough.

Bolt pattern is the same, and the center hub should be as well. The biggest concern (from what I have seen) with putting modern rims on an older truck is the backspacing and brake clearance.

Those rims will rub the tie-rod ends w/out at least a 1/2inch or more spacer..
