For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 4 | I am working on a 1937 Chevy pickup. When I bought my truck it came with standard width fiberglass rear fenders, but I want to put large wheels on the rear. I want to put wide rear fenders on my truck. I have found a few companies that sell wider fiberglass rear fenders, but are some better quality than others? Any advice would help. Thank you! | | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 460 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 460 | I'd be willing to trade the metal rear fenders on my '37 for FG ones but that's only because I think my truck has '36 rear fenders on it... Lots of room to tuck any width of rear tire inside them as they aren't as teardrop shaped... I'll be watching this one with interest to see what you come up with... I know I've seen wider glass rear fenders on ebay that a guy custom makes but they'll require you to empty your wallet and back account to get 'em! ~Trev | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,243 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,243 | My truck has 2" wider rear fenders from R&R Fiberglass. They are very heavy and well made. I will send a few photos if you want. Been making them for 30 years with many satisfied installations. www.superiorglassworks.comBrad Superior Glass Works | | |
