I guess I wasn't clear enough (I knew what I was talking about <grin>). This isn't a stock install. I'm retrofitting a 250 into a 57 1/2 ton. I'm contemplating using the cradle style mount
(see pic) , but I'll have to come up with adapters to go from the 45 degree v8 mounts to the vertical 250 mounting surfaces (the green parts in this
drawing). I have seen them in a GM factory application, but of course I can't remember what. I also recall reading an article about an install in a 54 Chevy car where the shop fabricated the adapters and was going to add them to their catalog. The adapters would be easy enough to fabricate, but if either used GM of fabricated ones are readily available, I can use that time for some other part of the install.
