For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 48 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 48 | Got most of my dash wiring replaced with a harness salvaged from a scrap yard.
Gauges appear to work, I have headlamps (Yay!), but still need to wire tail and signal lamps.
There is a small harness of just a few wires I need to figure out. It has two dash lamps which I think are turn indicators, a two wire flasher relay, and a flat six pin connector. Going the other direction it is fairly long, terminating in a two pin and a three pin connectors.
There is a Signal Stat turn switch on the column, with seven wires. The seven wire colors do not match the six pin Chevy connector.
Anyone have a diagram to help me out?
If I can complete this wiring I can finally drive my truck! I've looked on-line for schematics, but the only one I could find was too small to be legible. 1957 Chevy 3600At these prices I want my gas 100 octane, leaded, and my windshield washed! | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | Check out this tech tip. It has the colors for a Signal-stat 900 and instructions to figure out the wires on others. | | |
