Talk about a newbie! Just joined up and made my first post last night. Already had lots of replies and got some great info. I've never posted anything on a forum before so I have a lot to learn...I can barely turn this thing on! This site is awesome and it looks like people are very knowledgeable and more than willing to help. I bought a '63 Chevy C60 last weekend at my Grandpas estate auction and want to restore it. I'm going to look at another truck tomorrow that appears to have a good steel dump box on it (mine has a 16' grain box now). Hopefully I can end up with a nice little rock/dirt/junk hauler. There isn't much rust on mine and it has a 292 6 banger with a 2 speed rear end. I think the parts truck has the same drive train so maybe I'll have some good parts. I'll try to get some pictures taken before I tear anything apart so we'll have something to compare to. Anyway, other junk....oops....I mean equipment I have are a 1960 something Farmall 706 gas with a really old Westendorf loader...it's a nice old rig, a 1975 Gehl 4500 skidloader...I use it alot and it works like the day it was made, and a 1972 Gravely Custom Convertible garden tractor with a few attachments. I've only had the Gravely for couple weeks and it looks like there is quite a following of those things too. I'm looking forward to getting to know people on here and tapping into the wealth of information available from you guys and I'll try to contribute when I can help someone out too.....or at least offer up some stimulating conversation!

Welcome to the site poonjabber. Yes it is an awesome site, quite a variety of characters around here. Lots of knowledge, that's for sure. I keep learning a lot. Good luck with the '63.
