I have already purchased the wheel cyls & brake hoses.
I want to buy the power master cyl next month (saving my pennies) but there is a huge difference in price on the kits I've seen.
I know you usually get what you pay for, but - how much difference can there be? I've seen kits for less than $200 & more than $500 & all in between.
Do I need a proportioning valve? What is this flow back valve some kits talk about needing?
I will buy a bolt in kit - don't want to fab or weld if I can help it.
Once this is done - I will install seat belts & pretty much be safe to drive with the kids.
any help? | | | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 431 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 431 | if i'm correctly remembering, the prop valve is for disc/drum combos, and maybe so with the dual master. but i think the dual master may also be a function of safety. pop a leak in one circuit, the other is still operable | | | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 208 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 208 | Has anyone installed power brakes on their bolt?
What are the advantages vs dis-advantages of one brand over another? | | |
