I need seats for a 52 gmc can anyone tell me what might fit? buckets would be great but from what vehicle

2001 and buick lesabre. i have them in my 54. has built in shoulder harness and 60/40 with arm rest.

I used late model S-10 seats in my 55,a nice set of 60-40 seats,that should fit you GMC.

how much modification is needed to bolt down the seats? buick or s10? Not to hijack your post - but I'm looking into the same thing & don't have the welding skill to fab too much in the way of brackets.

hey Midget, might consider some 60/40 GM truck seats [mid 80's], just hafta drill some holes in the floor

Avette4me - that turned out really nice! That is the type of thing I'm looking to do.

I like the old look, but need good seat belts. My wife however won't ride in it if it stinks like an old truck - so I was thinking a nice set of new leather or cloth seats from a modern car & some new carpet & she would be able to ride with me.

If you want newer seats, I believe you'll discover that most any that you find can be made to work.

I think you've got about 58" in width (off memory, but you can measure) and a mostly flat floor so the most work you should have to do is make pedestals. They can be made from square tube - about 2" wide X however tall you need them. You make 4 per seat to bolt in a 4 point position. They're easy to bolt to the floor, then bolt the seats to them, or vice versa if you prefer. As long as the seats have a platform that's bottom is flat, it a pretty straight forward mod.

I found some 1998 Toyota Sienna leather electric seats at a boneyard. They work and fit with room to spare in my 49 Chevy 3100. Mas gas is already out, so there is room for the seats. Any buckets around 22" to 24" wide and not more than about 26" deep should work fine. You have about 52" width max in my 49 to play with and that leaves room for a small console between the seats.

Just got pair of 2016 4 Runner pwr both sides. About 22 inches which will work and leave space for a console I want to put there. Got to cover and shape like I want off the original frames. Biggest challenge is reworking the floor braces for a flat floor pan got to lift the seat up. I moved my tank out of the cab also. Seems the supply available makes them reasonable price wise.
