It's bored .30 over,balnced,10.5:1 Keith Black pistons, holley 750 double pumper, fairley stout cam. Tranny is a borg-warner super t 10 3.42 first gear out of a camaro. I also have a close ratio super t 10 out of a 76 corvette for it.3.73 one legger rearend. http://s975.photobucket.com/albums/ae234/truckin66/ | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | Wow, thats a good trade! That ST-10 is a great tranny but be carefull coming out of the hole. Had the same tranny in my '57 chevy back in the '80's. Side stepped the clutch at about 3000rpm IIRC and cleaned the teeth off 1st gear cluster. To achieve that low 3.42 (thought mine was 3.44?? must have been 3.42)the gear on the cluster is REALLY small. Not alot of mateing surface there. Still a WAY better tranny than a close ratio anything. You'll LOVE it. | | |
