I'm trying to identify this part and where it goes... it was in the group of "all these parts go with the truck"... anyway,

Looks like a door trim piece.

first one looks like an interior trim of some type, like headliner above windshield? - 2nd one looks like the trim that goes right below the windshield, the notched part being where the defrost ducts are someone with a 66 will chime in, don't take my word for it

I think that's two pictures of one part. I haven't been in a 66 lately, but I think headliner too.

OK I'm gonna change my answer to bottom of the windshield on the dash. Just another guess.

Ya it was an attempt at a closer up shot of the same piece...

I originally thought headliner somewhere also, but I was thinking that it is just bare metal for the most part... windshield/dash sounds good. Thanks all.

I Checked a few of the 60-66 Trucks i have and that don't look like a part for any of them.

And I'm pretty sure that the 2 leaves came from the elms outside (grin).

ive never seen a 60-66 headliner i do not recognize that part-i think its from something else did these trucks come with factory headliner? interesting.....

that piece is like 5' long. could it have came out of a panel or something? i haven't seen one like it on a 60 to 66 truck. let us know if you find out what. hr

No headliner in 60 to 66 trucks may be a dash to windshield part althought not real sure i have seen any thing like it sorry. I do know no headliners

WOW... any chance someone is playing a tick on you? I have never seen anything like that on any 60 to 66 trucks I have been around. I don't think it could be dash to windshield trim because that would be putting the screws into the rubber.

Maybe it goes to a panel wagon if it has a head liner or something.. I am not the panel guy.

To be honest it looks like a head liner trim piece on a 58 Pontiac.. I remember seeing something similar there...

I think it's a channel piece that carries the blinker fluid side to side

Very good luckless hahahhaha I think you got it. The more that I look at my 60's I cant see were that part would go. I just know its not a headliner.

Ya, I took the part to the shop that's getting it fixed up, it doesn't appear to go to it... no telling where it came from!
