Thank you.. Y'all Come.

Use an air gun to blow the water and dust from any and all cracks after that. I also use a grease and wax remover and a tack rag before painting, Scott | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 443 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 443 | I just use straight water the wash the vehicle afterwards. I have have had all of this truck down to the metal and have cleaned it with each step. I use rubber gloves and never touch it with my hands. I have kept everyone out of my shop as well while I am sanding, cleaning and painting... etc..
Thanks so much..

It was refreshing after about killing over from a heat stroke. I got my little girl to keep the sponge dripping water over what I was sanding. It went a lot faster than I would have thought. I made it around with the 400, so, in the morning I will run around it again with the 600 to finnish it on out. I hope to be putting some color on this thing by the weeks end. Y'all pray for me... This thing is consuming my life... My wife wants me back... God Bless...

I have been going after all the cracks and stuff with the scotch brite pads. I was hoping to be ready to shoot the base coat today or yesterday but the rains came at it is just to humid in my shop. I wet sanded in side my shop as well and the floor is still damp. At any rate, I will try to take a couple of days off work later in a couple of weeks and start painting. That will give me more time with the scotch brite and stuff. I certainly do not want to rush the process. This red paint I am using cost way way too much to have to buy more.
So more too come. Thank for all of you that have helped me. God Bless...
