I have a 67 swb with factory over drive tranny. Where do I find parts such as the solenoid switch, governor and kick down switch?

Seems the stock rear axle ratio for a truck with this tranny is 4:11. Has any one changed it to a 3:73 or 3:42 and if so how did it work out? Most of the driving will be on the highway but I will also use it to creap around on the farm. It has a stock 283 ci. engine with RV cam.

The overdrive solenoid, governor and kickdown switch appear on ebay all the time. I am assuming you have the Warner od unit which is .73. 4.11 is a nice overdrive ratio. 3.90 is ok, but anything faster will run 100 mph down hill and die going up hill.

This is a good information to have http://webhubcentral.com/packard/maint_overdrive.htm It is actually a Packard site, but all the Borg Warner OD's work the same. I have been running overdrives 45 years and repairing them as needed. The wiring diagram applies to GM, Ford or Chrysler. Not only Packard.
