The # is 1352-065

http://www.5speeds.com/t5 says it's from an '84 Mustang/Capri?

I understand thet I still need an S10 tail section but what about the ratios?

Will that T-5 bolt up to your bellhousing? The S-10 T-5 will.

The seller advertises it as an S10-S15 transmission?
But I could NOT find that # in the inliner's T5 page.

Measure the mounting hole spaceing & the collar diameter where it goes into the bellhousing & T.O. brg. I don,t think it will fit.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

I believe I would be more inclined to buy a T-5 that reflects the correct number to fit an S-10 or S-15. I think that way you can be sure of what you are getting. It's a pretty good job to install the right one - no telling how hard it could be to install the wrong one.

Just my 6 sense!

I put one in my 63 about a month ago behind a 230, and I love it. However, I agree with Joe, get one from an S-10...my install was enough of a pain in the @$$ without chasing a bunch of adapters to get it crossed over from a Ford case. My next challenge is to re-build my T-5 after driving it for a while. I didn't do anything to it but pick it up from a junk yard, put fluid in it and stick it in the truck. Apparently it was well trained by the PO...it changes its own oil!

One other pointer...unless your truck has a whole lot more room in it than mine you'll have to straighten the shifter out a little bit or it will hit the bench seat when shifting into 2, 4, & R. Solution is either change to buckets or judicious application of a BFH with a little heat (not too much or you'll damage the shifter).
