Hi all,

I just purchased up a 59 Chevy that I found on Craigslist. I absolutely love it but I'm not have familiar with working on old trucks so I'm having a knowledgable mechanic work get a bit more reliable and give me some advice on what in needs right away. I really glad to have found this site and I hope that I can lean on you guys for some helpful info.

Thanks guys, great work on the site!

Welcome to the Bolt Komp59. This is the place to be. Lots of knowledge here and lots of folks willing to share. Be sure to ask you questions in the right forum for best results and before long you will be helping others to get their's going.
Just let the guys around the garage know what you need.

When you can get some pics posted to a website we'd love to have a link listed here so we can see it.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Welcome to Stovebolt. It won't be long before you get at ease with old trucks. After all they are pretty simple and basic. That is why I love them so much.
