My father-in-law has a 2005 GMC truck and the brakes squeel when you start to back up. It is very anoying to say the least. He has had it to 3 different shops and everyone says the same thing, Thats the nature of GM trucks. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I could do to stop the squeeling? The truck only has 25000 miles on it and the pads look new. I've never heard of one doing that with either system as a "normal" thing. Is the noise coming from front or rear? Could be as simple as dust buildup in the rear.
