Most, if not all, of the 20" rims on the market in the correct bolt pattern are meant for late model trucks, whcih have the incorrect backspace to work on the early trucks. You'll either be looking at adapters or custom backspace wheels in order to fit them.
A couple words of of caution, you will lose ride qualtiy and load capacity with that size tire. They are very stiff due to the short sidewall. They are also not load rated due to the primary use as a passenger type tire.

As for load I'm not going to be hauling anyting in this truck. Wheels don't effect ride quality. On the load capacity, you'll need to make sure that the tires are rated to carry at least the weight of the truck plus passengers. I've seen tires fail due to not having proper cpacity to carry even the empty truck. In one particular case, low profile tires on a 3/4 ton '72. All 4 tires failed within a month. The tires were intalled at the customers request, even though he was warned that they were insufficient load cpapacity. Please use caution, and make sure of the capacities and also maintain proper tire pressures, as they might need to run higher to carry the load.

Why are you wanting to run 20s if you're plan is to go with 15s? Question #2, If I re-read the original post correctly, are you planning to use Dodge 20" rims? If so, unless you have altered the axles, they will not bolt up. I don't beleive the backspacing will allow for it even if the pattern has been changed. You would be ahead just running 15" stock type wheels, using them to get the truck setup properly for the final tire/wheel size. Much less cost as well.

Beg to differ, I am running 20' with 45 aspect and they ride very poor. In Mich. It's not the wheel that's causing the bad ride, it's the short sidewall. Go to a taller aspect ratio sidewall, and the ride quality will improve. The wheel itself has little to no effect on the overall spring rate. Same goes for ply rating, heavier the ply rating, the stiffer the ride.
