Here is a link to my personal web space, not selling anything there, just showing you all what happens when your buddies tell you they are sick of seeing small blocks in all the hot rods.

kind of a chronology of my trucks transformation, check back often as i update at least monthly. And yes that is a 4.6 northstar that is still mated to its original trans axle and the abs and traction control are still functional.

did you think about putting the transaxle up front?then you could use a drop axle out back and keep your bed floor.

the unit currently does not have rear steer but very easily could, just put the rack in.

as for putting engine up front, i may just install a second unit up front and run with twin engines (depends how she performs with a single engine first)

Nice work. I have been toying with the idea of putting a GM front drive system in a 59. The 3800 engine/transaxle would be my starting point. My welding helmet is doffed to you though. Looking forward to the finished product.

Wow!

I have a line on a Northstar and have been thinking about putting it in an old GMC. Now that I see its been done I have to find something else to do...

A twin engine 4 wheel drive...HMMmmmm...That'd be an awesome ride, for sure! I guess since you've gone this far with it,doing it again up front would be fairly easy, huh?
