What color should the wheels on a 49 Chevy suburban be?

Is this body color thing only for Burbs? From what I understand, trucks have black wheels.

In 1954/55, I think all Suburban wheels were body color.

I have GM B/W photos of earlier, light-colored Chevrolet Suburbans and the wheels are dark - not body color. The wheels in all the GM Suburban photos show striping on them.

Yes, compared to other models in the same year, Suburbans had different kinds of paint color conventions in all Advance-Design years.

I have accumulated a number of wheels in the process of redoing the 53, I checked in the garage and have a myriad of colors, but two of the wheels I have still have the origianl pinstriping on them (I kept these to get the location, width, etc.), and neither of them are black, one is a dark blue and the other green, this leads me to saying the body color, unless the striping was part of a "deluxe" package and black was standard. File this in the for what it's worth folder.
