have you guys seen this, where they use the power steeing pump to run the brake booster, it says that its alot more braking for the buck, just wanting some thoughts, since I havent got even closeto that point(just trying to think ahead)
I think that you have the terms hydraboost and hydrovac mixed up. I have been running a GM hydraboost in my 64 for 19 years now works good. I did have a detroit diesel and you can't draw vacuum from them so this is the alternate solution. they were available from all Gm trucks(light duty) that ran diesels( whenevr they came out) from about 75 onwards.Mine was out of a 75 4 x 4 suburban ron
that is quite similiar to the one that I have in mine though the mounting looks a little different. mine is an earlier one and it mounts in the same as the old single m/c mounts( I can't see the mounting in the picture ron
