Anyone know the whereabouts of instructions on how the door rubber is intalled? This is the rubber that runs around the perimeter. I've run across tese instructions for 25 years when I didn't need it. Today I'm mocking up the doors and can't find the instructions.

Any help would be welcomed.

Thanks,

Keith

take it outta the bag and plug it in the holes wink

it's useful to use some adhesive [like 3M] around the dog leg and under the bottom edge - and that metal strip is really needed under the bottom, as well as the small clips at the bends/corners .... the 'lip' goes toward the opening

with the split ones it works to have the joint in the middle of the bottom where the metal retainer can hold it snug

The one piece rubber has a single right angle. That goes in the lower corner at the back of the door.
FWIW, I used both Steele and Soffseal door rubber and couldn't get my doors to shut. I ended up needing two thicknesses of rubber so the doors would align correctly. See:

I had same problem and shaved down the door seal to make it work. I have shaved doors with 80 lb pulls but they would not open the door as the seal from lmc with plastic tips was to tight a fit. Where did you get the two types you used to work?
