Has anyone tried the aftermarket door latches lately ? I tried one several years back and could not get it to latch or adjust with original and aftermarket striker plates I eventually had to install the worn out original back on Zeker6

I have one on my passenger door and it seems to work just fine but there have been several posts where they didn't work well or at all. There is a booklet you can buy that explains in detail how to service doors. Buy that book and use it. Me thinks that latches depend heavily on proper installation and adjustment.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
