don't mind the moderator. The rest of us are friendly people and we enjoy input from all. When you get a minute you might try a search for something like "37 drivetrain". There are many ways to make it move the way you want it too.

You will find a ton of good information here, But try the other forums at the bolt It's less aggravating and you wont have to look for your topic when it's been moved. Like GMONIZ already said... (Post some pictures, get an idea of what you want and what you need, make a plan and follow it. everyone on here has an opinion, SOME MORE THAN OTHER'S, it's your truck, do as you want) And most importantly have fun doing it...AND DONT FORGET TO POST YOUR PICS

Something to keep in mind as you try to decide- the 207 C I and LOW gearing in this truck will only allow a very low top speed ( 40-45 MPH) and the brakes are terrible if you are in any traffic. For parades and blue highways it will be fun, any extensive driving can be frustrating since you cannot meld into the traffic flow.
There are several 36 ownwer here so I hope they can offer help and opinions.

Well I have one to  First Welcome to the bolt. Second, TAKE YOUR TIME on deciding which way to go. There is a LOT of work that can be done without making or committing yourself to something you will later wish you hadn't done....or wish you had. At best you will do this only a dozen times!! With some of the options you choose comes certain roadblocks. Decide which engine you want to go with and that helps decide driveline...or vise versa. Just like in high school...do you home work. Most all of us have been in you situation so don't be shy. Measure twice cut once!! | | |
