Hello guys.
I think I heard (magazine article or somewere like that) about some outfit that was building widened fiberglass fenders. I think they were 3 inches wider than stock.
Anyone know who this is? or has anyone experience with widening stock fenders?
Would really appreciate help with this
Thanks
Ter

Th only widened fenders I know of are for the rear. I beleive several of the parts suppliers carry them. Now, for fronts, I really don't know, but you could use fenders from a 1.5 ton truck. They'll bolt right up.

My '37 has two inch wider rear fenders. Never heard of wide front fenders. They add to the center so the inner radius and out wheel opening look like stock. Joe

A bolter here 3-5 years ago, Sublime was his handle cut the fender in two and added a 4" strip front to rear. I searched his threads but his Photobucket was inactive. Maybe you can search his threads and find some help. I was impressed with his quality and determination as I had just joined here and like most enjoy following along with others progress. Have fun and good luck

Thanks for the input. I am going to try and find a 1 1/2 ton with my tape measure in hand.
Don't think I am brave enough to cut up a good fender. (or maybe I know my lack of body work experience !)
