I think I heard (magazine article or somewere like that) about some outfit that was building widened fiberglass fenders. I think they were 3 inches wider than stock. Anyone know who this is? or has anyone experience with widening stock fenders? Would really appreciate help with this Thanks Ter | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Th only widened fenders I know of are for the rear. I beleive several of the parts suppliers carry them. Now, for fronts, I really don't know, but you could use fenders from a 1.5 ton truck. They'll bolt right up.

They add to the center so the inner radius and out wheel opening look like stock. I searched his threads but his Photobucket was inactive. Maybe you can search his threads and find some help. I was impressed with his quality and determination as I had just joined here and like most enjoy following along with others progress. Have fun and good luck Dan | | | | | Joined: May 2002 Posts: 144 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2002 Posts: 144 | Thanks for the input. I am going to try and find a 1 1/2 ton with my tape measure in hand. Don't think I am brave enough to cut up a good fender. (or maybe I know my lack of body work experience !) Ter | | |
