Hey all, I'm Todd from Minnesota. I finally got my brothers 1949 3800 basket case. He threw in the towel after 19 years with it. It has a half ton box with it and was on a '85 short box chassis. The original frame has been behind my shop for years. The cab will be going back on it with a few changes, the half ton rear suspension and a Malibu front clip.
See you all around the board.

Hi Todd, welcome to this site. We have a lot of fun here, learn stuff and sometimes share lies. So who's farther ahead now, you or your brother? I hope you can get it back together, if you run stuck, just ask what you need to know.

thumbs_upG'Day Todd,
I'm guessin' from your heading that the old Chev aint gonna be restored to stock?

There are a bunch of Hot Rodded trucks on the site, but mainly restored trucks are the fave here!

But us modifiers have to stick together...can't wait to see some pics. pix

All the best with it.........Doc.

Todd, Welcome to the bolt. I recommend that you check out the IFS selections vs clipping. Do a search on the site and read up on what has been done.
