Another option would be to weld up the pivots on the spring pads, then just use the 3rd member from the '55 rear to get the open driveline.

As mentioned above the pivot points will need to be welded once you set up your pinion angle. Used the 46 axels and kept my original wheels. It's an easy swap. Just make sure you weld up your spring perches or weld on new ones.
