I put in an RCI fuel cell w/sender in my '57 Suburban the other day. I grounded it, filled it with about 10 gallons of gas in the 20 gallon fue cell. When I hooked up the gas gauge to the sender it didn't work. I reversed the wires on the back of my gas gauge and it pegged it out to full. Any ideas on why it won't register the level? Thanks for any help, Bongo

if the sender came with the cell it'll be 60 ohm, the stock gauge needs a 30 ohm sender

David, Did you change out the 0-90 ohm sender? Where would I get a 0-30 ohm sender? Can I put some kind of resistor or voltage regulator on it? Bongo

Red, My cell came with a 0-90 ohm sender. Can I put a resistor or voltage regulator of some kind on it? Where can I get a 0-30 ohm sender if I can't "dumb" mine down? Bongo
