For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 36 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 36 | I put in an RCI fuel cell w/sender in my '57 Suburban the other day. I grounded it, filled it with about 10 gallons of gas in the 20 gallon fue cell. When I hooked up the gas gauge to the sender it didn't work. I reversed the wires on the back of my gas gauge and it pegged it out to full. Any ideas on why it won't register the level? Thanks for any help, Bongo | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | if the sender came with the cell it'll be 60 ohm, the stock gauge needs a 30 ohm sender

Can I put some kind of resistor or voltage regulator on it? Bongo | | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 36 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 36 | Red, My cell came with a 0-90 ohm sender.
