I was just chatting up an old carb rebuilder and he showed me what appeared to be an old Clifford intake with integrated water heating set up for two Stromberg 97's. It had three posts for each carb..<
Anyone seen one of these? Would it do well on a 235 or a 261?
I measured the ports, about 1.5" and spaced to fit one of these motors.

BTW, That Harper set up is really cool!

It looked like the current holley intake except with two carb mounts instead of the one. They were spread to cover all three ports, of course.

I forget the name on it. If it's good for a 216, would it be good on a street 235 with a couple of ford/holleys? Which ones?

Those carbs look mismatched in Hoyt's pic.
I'd like to know if this would be a good setup for the street. Any ideas?
