Does the narrow end of the ball cover unscrew to replace the gasket, or just put it in place as is. I tried to unscrew it after soaking it, and it's still tight! Try putting a pipe wrench on it and giving it a twist. Thats how I ended up removing mine.

tried it in the vice, after soaking with Kroil, guess I'll try again, maybe some heat and a few taps with a hammer to shock it. Mike | | |
