Just jump n in here. Looks like a great place to spend some time. I am in layout stage of 1 of my projects. I'm looking to build a 57 ext? or crew cab. I'v got 2 57's shortbed and extra longbed + 58 shortbed Fleetside. Would like to go in this order 57 frt-58cab- 57 ext? 0r crew Cab - 58 leetside. I'm undesided on what frame. Oridgenally thought of setting on My 88 3/4 ton long bed frame but forgot about width. Reverse offset wheels? I got good set of duallys not sure about that offset. Otherwise would set it all on longbed of 57. I diffently want IFS but want to keep standard Hieght. Would like to here some feedback if anybody else has got a opinion about it. I got very large shop and nice place to play but just got disabled a it limits my abillity geting up and down off the floor. Will be getting a Rotisarry. and install a lift in my shop real soon to try to keep my butt off the floor. I never really like these newwer extra long trucks always thought they looked like school busses but as they started getting popular they started to grew on me. Now it seems like 90% of all new trucks are crew cabs. I am getting tierd of restoring cars and looking to make a custom trucks. Mostely would like to rub the noses of all these people buying new trucks.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
