It was sitting right next to the dumpster which I didn't want placed there in the first place. Anyway the clutch is stuck I have to start it in gear in order to move the puppy. I started it up and it was a little stuck so I got out and gave it a push, bad idea. The truck went right towards the dumpster. I quickly got in the truck, right before the door got slammed shut from hitting the stupid thing. I heard the awful sound of scraping sheet metal on steel plate. I had visions of the whole side of the truck all scraped up to beat heck. After smashing clear of the evil dumpster I got out and looked over the damages. One small shallow dent on the from driver's side fender and a busted mirror. Luckily that was it. The rest of the truck didn't have a scratch. I guess I'll have to hunt down an old mirror now, the old one wasn't in the best of shape but it worked. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 446 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 446 | You may want to fix your clutch too, LOL!!!

Looking back on it the wise thing would have been to pull it away from the dumpster first with my other truck. I think I might have found a mirror for it. I guy I work with has some big trucks out in the field with those blind spot type mirrors. He told me some of them had flat mirrors instead of the convex type. I figure that should work well enough for the old GMC. | | |
