For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 102 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 102 | I've seen a number of DESIGNS for sale but it seems that the usual is over $150 for a set. Anyone ever make a homemade set. Doesn't need to be extremely heavyduty, they will only be used on one truck. Pictures would be nice. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | I've been using these dollies for over 8 years. My 1/2 ton trucks rolled around nicely inside the garage and in-and-out of the garage on an asphalt driveway. Sets of four are often on sale for under $100. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 308 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 308 | I have the same set under my 57 chevy 210, they work great.

Waste of money, if you ask me. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | I have a NEW set that I have used only once. Theyre tough and the wheels are steel. They look exactly like the ones that Tim shows a pic of they just didnt' come from the same place....but probably made by the same people....been thinking about putting them up for sale in the swapmeet. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 2,399 Former Workshop Owner | | Former Workshop Owner Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 2,399 | Harbor Freight also has some small flat movers dollies. Screw down a couple blocks of wood for wheel stops, and there you go. I think I have seen them on sale for 9.99 each.
