on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 36 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 36 | Can anyone help me with what should be the correct outside handles for this truck. I know what the hand grab part looks like, but the inside length is what is confusing. I have seen several sizes ranging from the short portion being 1-1/4" to 2-1/2" and the small square shank from 3/8" to 1" long. Did this truck have a locking door handle on it? I know the '38 had a lock only on the passenger side. Thoughts appreciated. When I bought the truck it had no door handles. Might be able to figure it out if someone could shoot me some dimensions of what this truck should of had. I know you can't get the dimensions but perhaps you can contact someone with a 35 and will give you some measurements. Not everyone will check all the forums so perhaps a PM would work? Just a thought. | | |
